This morning along the walkway between Whitehall and Montague in Muskegon County, Michigan.
A morning paddle on the White River just north of the Montague/Whitehall bridge.
It was really nice of my sister, Kelley, to take the dogs out this morning – because it meant a paddle on the White River for me.

That good looking girl in the halter is Flossie, the new photographer’s assistant. Mom adopted her from Noah’s Project earlier this summer.
We have been told that Flossie is a coon hound. Whatever her lineage, she couldn’t be any sweeter…especially mellow in the house. But once she’s outdoors and gets a scent, watch out. Just like Nigel, her volume knob also goes up to eleven.
At our cabins in Whitehall, the Saturday routine is to dispatch an emissary to the Montague farmer’s market – that appointed agent’s sole duty being the procurement of cranberry oatmeal scones in sufficient quantity to outlast the morning coffee.
