That good looking girl in the halter is Flossie, the new photographer’s assistant. Mom adopted her from Noah’s Project earlier this summer.
We have been told that Flossie is a coon hound. Whatever her lineage, she couldn’t be any sweeter…especially mellow in the house. But once she’s outdoors and gets a scent, watch out. Just like Nigel, her volume knob also goes up to eleven.
At our cabins in Whitehall, the Saturday routine is to dispatch an emissary to the Montague farmer’s market – that appointed agent’s sole duty being the procurement of cranberry oatmeal scones in sufficient quantity to outlast the morning coffee.
Most of these are from this morning’s successful mission.
The colors were crazy just before this morning’s sunrise. So much so that the psychedelic purple picture of the lake hasn’t been “pushed” in Photoshop at all – just a minor level adjustment and unsharp mask.
The same is true for all of the flowers. These beauties are all as seen just up the hill from the White Lake Eagles.
